Commissions are carried out working closely with the client throughout the entire duration of the project, from design to completion.We try and a arrange an onsite visit to create a true understanding of what the client is requiring as well as to see the setting which it is destined for.
We then design what we think would be appropriate from an understanding of what we have learnt from the client and on approval of the design a model is sometimes created to get a true understanding of the proportions of the article.
We have in the past created the article from timber which has been sourced near to the client’s location, often providing a provenance of the tree and roughly its age.
Throughout the period of creation we invite the client to call in and to see the work in progress.
